We are partnering with a well-regarded further education college based in Hornchurch, East London, to recruit a passionate and experienced A-Level Psychology Lecturer for a temporary role starting September 2025. This position offers flexible hours (part-time or full-time) and a chance to inspire students studying this popular and rewarding subject.
Role Overview
As an A-Level Psychology Lecturer, you will deliver stimulating lessons covering key topics such as cognitive psychology, social psychology, development, and biological psychology. You will support students in developing critical thinking skills and preparing them for their A-Level examinations and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging A-Level Psychology lessons
- Develop and adapt teaching materials to suit diverse learner needs
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback
- Support and motivate students to achieve their best outcomes
- Collaborate with the Psychology department and contribute to curriculum development
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in Psychology or a related discipline
- Recognised teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one
- Experience teaching A-Level Psychology, ideally in FE or secondary education
- Strong communication skills and a student-focused teaching approach
- Enthusiasm for inspiring learners and supporting their academic growth
