Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join our team in Taunton. This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on a range of HGVs.
• Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of fleet vehicles to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Perform on-site and roadside repairs, ensuring minimal vehicle downtime.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure all work is completed to the highest standards.
• Provide professional and efficient customer service, representing the company positively in all interactions.

About You:

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repairs (or equivalent).
• Proven experience as an HGV Technician, ideally in a mobile role.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid HGV license (preferred but not essential).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
