About the Role

As a General Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day running of our Cambridge locations. This includes team management, operational efficiency, sales strategy, customer satisfaction, and P&L responsibility. You’ll play a critical role in growing revenue, launching new services, and delivering top-tier service.

Key Responsibilities

P&L & Commercial

  • Meet/exceed monthly budgets
  • Maximise revenue using existing and new services
  • Build relationships with brokers and optimise occupancy
  • Monitor and control expenses effectively

Operations & Service

  • Lead centre operations to the highest standard
  • Resolve escalated customer issues professionally
  • Improve operational processes and customer satisfaction

Sales & Marketing

  • Drive occupancy and revenue growth
  • Implement local marketing campaigns
  • Use local networks and social media to generate leads

People Management

  • Lead and coach a high-performing team
  • Handle recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Foster a supportive, results-driven environment

Suppliers, Facilities & H&S

  • Manage maintenance, repairs, and approved suppliers
  • Ensure health & safety compliance at all times
  • Launch new centres and manage small fit-out projects

Mandatory Training (Provided)

Includes modules on GDPR, Anti-Bribery, Cyber Security, Unconscious Bias, Modern Slavery, and more.

  • Customers, clients, prospects
  • Brokers and local partners
  • Newable Group colleagues and boards

What You’ll Need

  • Experience managing P&L in a multi-site, customer-facing environment
  • Team leadership and coaching experience
  • Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Serviced office or flexible workspace experience (ideal)
  • Confident using Microsoft Office 365
