New Financial Controller opportunity – East Sussex
East Sussex office 3 days per week
Salary £63,000 – 76,000
Grafton Banks Finance is looking for an ambitious and fully qualified Accountant to join a fast-growing international business, with offices in East Sussex. Taking on the role of Financial Controller you will act as business partner to a few of the firm’s entities, providing them with high level commentary and financial management.
You’ll be joining a company effervescent with new and existing businesses, in a sector that’s booming, and a culture that’s vibrant, outgoing, and social.
Key responsibilities include –
– Acting as senior business partner to key stakeholder entity leaders.
– Budgeting, forecasting & financial analysis
– Interpreting the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow to give insight on performance of the business
– Maintaining the systems and processes for producing the management accounts for Board Meetings
– Production of monthly management accounts and reporting,
– Cashflow monitoring & analysis
– Interesting project work and involvement in new business
– Prepare IFRS year end statutory accounts for companies within the group
– Assist with the preparation of the group Annual Report.
The successful candidate for this role will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with industry or practice experience and strong IFRS technical understanding, together with a mature and dedicated approach, and the desire to succeed as a business partner.
