School Caretaker Roles – Liverpool – ASAP Start
Location: Across Liverpool
Start Date: Immediate
Type: Long-term, Full-time
Pay: £14.50- 16.50/ hour (based on experience)
We are working with several schools across Liverpool who are in urgent need of experienced caretakers to start immediately in long-term roles.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Opening and locking the school premises.
- Basic repairs and maintenance.
- Health & safety checks and record-keeping.
- Ensuring the site is clean, safe, and secure at all times.
- Liaising with contractors and school leadership.
- Ground maintenance and general upkeep of facilities.
You must have:
- Previous care taking/site maintenance experience (preferably in a school or public setting).
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- A valid Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (or be willing to apply for one).
- A proactive, hands-on approach.
Bonus if you have:
- Experience with alarm systems, heating systems, or key holding.
- DIY or trade background.
- Facilities/maintenance qualifications.
