Business Development Advisor
Hull (Hybrid)
£25,000 basic + Commission (OTE £31,000–£33,000)

Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be working in partnership with a highly respected client to recruit a Business Development Advisor to join their sales team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and driven professional to join a dynamic team and play a key role in driving business growth. The successful candidate will work to proactively develop new opportunities, manage incoming leads, and support the sales pipeline through a combination of telemarketing, research, and CRM engagement. As a Business Development Advisor, you’ll act as the first point of contact for potential clients, identifying prospects and helping convert interest into meaningful business opportunities.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Engage prospective clients via phone and email to introduce products and services
  • Build and nurture relationships to identify needs and position suitable solutions
  • Conduct market research to identify potential sectors, trends, and target accounts
  • Qualify leads and ensure accurate, timely updates in the CRM system
  • Respond to inbound leads from web and phone enquiries
  • Collaborate with marketing to align lead generation with campaigns
  • Support the successful completion of specific outbound campaigns

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in business development or telesales
  • Confident communicator with strong telephone and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Familiar with CRM systems and lead management
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport
  • Self-motivated, well-organised, and able to work independently as well as in a team
