Assembly Operative

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a leading manufacturing company based near Alton. This is a full-time permanent position.

Responsibilities:
– Assembling mechanical and electrical components to build products.
– Conduct initial and visual inspections of components.
– Collaborating with other departments such as engineering and production to ensure efficient assembly process.
– Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections on the assembly line to management.
– Packing assembled products into boxes for storage.
– Keeping tools and work areas clean and organized.

Requirments:
– Previous experience in an Assembly or Production environment
– Proficient in hand tools and electrical testing equipment
– Strong attention to detail
– Excellent communication skills
– Basic computer knowledge

This Assembly Operative role is paying £12.21 per hour, rising to £12.75 per hour after successful completion of 3 month probation period. The working hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm.
