An established regional law firm based in Wimbledon is looking to recruit a skilled Commercial Property Lawyer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with 5+ years PQE to take the next step in their career. The role involves high-quality commercial property work, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, development, and financing. The Commercial Property Lawyer’s role
The appointed Commercial Property Lawyer will work across a wide spectrum of commercial property transactions. Day-to-day responsibilities include acting on commercial leases (for landlords and tenants), managing acquisitions and disposals, handling site development projects, drafting and negotiating options, and overseeing commercial financing arrangements. You will take full responsibility for your files from instruction to completion, with the support of a collaborative property team.

There is a strong emphasis on client service, so the firm is seeking someone who is commercially astute, personable, and able to provide clear and practical legal advice to a variety of clients, from SMEs to developers and investors.

The Commercial Property Lawyer

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (CILEx or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years PQE

• Proven track record in handling commercial property transactions independently

• Strong negotiation and drafting skills

• Excellent client communication and relationship-building ability

• Comfortable managing deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

• A proactive and team-focused attitude
