Technical Paraplanner – Colchester

We are recruiting on behalf of an established financial planning business in Colchester, seeking to appoint an experienced Technical Paraplanner to join its team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner with experience in an IFA environment who is looking for a new challenge. The successful candidate will provide technical and report-writing support to advisers, helping to ensure clients receive clear, accurate and well-researched financial advice.

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA firm is essential
• Strong technical knowledge across financial planning
• Experience preparing suitability reports and supporting advisers
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
• Good communication and organisational skills
• The ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
• Chartered status would be highly desirable

This role is not aimed at candidates looking to move up from an administration position. The business is specifically looking for someone with proven Paraplanning experience who can make an immediate contribution to the team.

Salary: £40,000–£55,000, depending on experience and qualifications. The higher end of the range would be considered for a Chartered Paraplanner with significant industry experience.
