An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Ecologist to join a respected multidisciplinary environmental consultancy with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality environmental services across infrastructure, renewable energy, water, residential and commercial developments. This Senior Ecologist position offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects while mentoring junior team members in a collaborative environment based in Dublin.

As a Senior Ecologist, you will lead ecological surveys, manage projects from inception through to completion, prepare and review technical reports including Ecological Impact Assessments, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and provide technical guidance to colleagues. This Senior Ecologist role also offers the opportunity to contribute to business development and help shape the continued growth of the ecology team.

Requirements:

• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related discipline
• Several years’ experience within an ecology consultancy
• Strong project management and report writing skills
• Experience leading ecological surveys and delivering EcIAs
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Full right to work in the UK
• Living in or near the Dublin office
• Membership of CIEEM or working towards chartership is advantageous
