Senior Accountant – Wolverhampton
Full-Time | Permanent | £38k
I am working with a growing accountancy practice in Wolverhampton who are now looking for an experienced Senior Accountannt.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with practice experience who enjoys managing client relationships and working with a varied portfolio of businesses.
As Senior Accountant your responsibilities will include
- Management of a portfolio of SME, sole trader and limited company clients.
- Preparing year-end accounts and VAT returns.
- Supporting clients with Making Tax Digital (MTD) compliance.
- Liaising directly with clients and HMRC.
- Providing proactive accounting and business advice.
- Supporting junior team members where required.
About You
- Practice experience is essential.
- AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
- Confident managing your own client portfolio.
- Strong knowledge of UK accounts, VAT and MTD.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
