Role:
We’re hiring a maths teacher who can engage and support students with a variety of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties. Lessons should be learner-focused and in line with EHCP objectives.
Contract: Full-time / Ongoing
Must-Haves:
- UK-recognised QTS
- Legal right to work in the UK (no visa support available)
- Enhanced DBS check (on the update service)
- Proven experience teaching SEN maths
- Available Monday through Friday
Qualification:
QTS – Qualified Teacher Status
Relevant Experience:
SEN classroom teaching in the UK, specifically designing maths sessions tailored to individual student needs.
Key Strengths:
- Adapt teaching to EHCPs and individual learning styles
- Use practical scenarios to explain mathematical ideas
- Encourage interactive participation and visual learning
- Support pupils’ emotional well-being and confidence
- Willing to offer care assistance when necessary
