HR Operations Lead

This prestigious professional membership organisation is looking to recruit an HR Operations Lead to oversee the delivery of their payroll, recruitment, and people analytics functions, providing line management to two officers in the HR team.

Key Responsibilities of the HR Operations Lead:

• Lead delivery of the monthly HR payroll cycle, owning the HR team’s responsibilities in this process and ensuring the accuracy of data on file.
• Forge and maintain strong working relationships with the Finance team, ensuring alignment on any planning.
• Provide guidance and support to the officer overseeing recruitment processes to deliver inclusive and successful recruitment campaigns.
• Monitor spending on recruitment and take the lead on developing strategy.
• Oversee the delivery of management information reports, dashboards and analytics, guiding the work of the Data Officer and presenting insights on trends and risks to senior management.
• Take a lead role in optimising use of the HRIS and ATS at the organisation, identifying and delivering process improvements.
• Contribute to general HR administration, as required.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

• Educated to degree standard, or with equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrable experience in a hands-on payroll-related role, with practical knowledge of working with and interpreting complex HR/payroll data and related legislation.
• Attentive to detail, with strong time management skills and the ability to guide others to prioritise their work effectively.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly numerate with the ability to gather and use data accurately.
• Proficient in payroll and HRIS, as well as MS Office applications.

Salary and Benefits:

• c£38,000 to c£42,000 pro rata, depending on experience.
• Full-time, fixed-term contract expected to last for between 10 and 12 months.
• Based in Central London office, with provision for remote working for part of the week.
