Location: Exeter
Salary: £48,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday
Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join our team in Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-established company, offering a competitive salary of £48,000 and a Monday to Friday schedule.
As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a fleet of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring they remain roadworthy and compliant with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
• Carry out inspections in line with DVSA standards.
• Perform MOT preparation and testing.
• Work efficiently to minimize vehicle downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of all work carried out.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Proven experience as an HGV Technician / Mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repair procedures.
• Valid HGV Licence (desirable but not essential).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
