Job: Finance Business Partner (9 Month Contract)
Location: Colchester, Essex
Salary: £400pd-£450pd
Length of contract: 9 months
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned interim Finance Business Partner with a background in the public sector to join a finance team in Colchester.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide financial insight to senior leadership team to drive efficiency and change
- Business partner with stakeholders on financial performance and analysis
- Deliver high quality management information using predictive analysis and financial modelling
- Support with creation of cross-functional team projects
- Collaborate with finance colleagues on company policies aligned with strategic goals and continuous improvement
- Assess business costs and risks
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations
The ideal candidate:
- Must be qualified accountant (ideally CIMA)
- Must have experience working in the public sector
- Strong communication skills
- Proven track record in improving financial systems and driving performance
- Experience providing financial advice to inform strategic decisions
- Proficient analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial results for the business
- Proven track record in building strong relationships with internal teams to influence stakeholders
The client is offering hybrid work and £400-£450pd.
