Job Description

Sales Administrator

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join a leading manufacturing company in Chineham, Basingstoke. This is a temp to perm position with the view to start in September.

Responsibilities as a Sales Administrator:
– Support the team with the activities of the Sales department
– Liaise with customers and provide technical assistance
– Prepare quotations, letters, tenders and other direct communications on behalf of the Sales Director
– Undertake a thorough contract review of orders received by the Company to ensure that all aspects are clearly identified
– Maintain a good working relationship with the sales representatives
– Report back any market intelligence
– Generate statistics and other figures as required
– Undertake other tasks on a temporary basis and to provide support to other departments should the need arise due to staff holidays, sickness etc
– Gain an in-depth knowledge of the Sales and Marketing software and to be responsible for the correct and complete entry of all necessary data

Requirements
– Previous experience in a sales administrator role
– Proficient with Microsoft packages
– Strong administrative skills
– Ability to work under pressure
– Excellent organisational skills

The Role:
– Working hours are Monday – Friday, 09:00 to 16:30 with a 30-minute lunch break
– £13.00 per hour
– Fully office based
– Temp – Perm position
