Are you an experienced Transport Planner looking for your next challenge? We’re working with a well-established logistics company based in Norwich that is seeking a motivated and organised individual to join their team as a Transport Planner.
The Role:
As a Transport Planner, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and planning the daily transport operations to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and scheduling vehicle routes and loads
- Liaising with drivers, customers, and third parties
- Monitoring and adjusting plans in response to changes or delays
- Ensuring compliance with transport regulations and company policies
- Managing transport administration and documentation
About You:
- Previous experience in a transport planning or logistics coordination role is an advantage, however full training will be given.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
