Job Description
We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established housing association looking for a skilled and customer-focused Multi-Skilled Carpenter. This is a hands-on, resident-facing role where your work directly improves people’s homes and lives.
? Responsibilities
Carry out responsive carpentry repairs and planned maintenance
Diagnose and treat damp & mould issues effectively
Undertake associated multi-trade tasks (e.g. patch plastering, basic plumbing, tiling)
Ensure safe working practices across all tasks
Maintain clear, empathetic communication with residents
Collaborate with other trades and supervisory staff
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Carpentry
Domestic maintenance or social housing experience
Knowledge of damp & mould causes and treatment
Skilled in additional trades (desirable)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Full UK Driving Licence
