Management Accountant

Management Accountant – West End | Up to £60,000 + discretionary bonus | Sports Media

Are you a newly qualified ACA/ACCA accountant from practice with a passion for sport? This is an exceptional opportunity to join a fast-paced, international business that manages the largest portfolio of sports rights in the world.

Based in the West End with a vibrant office culture (4 days a week in the office), you’ll play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, and process improvement as part of a dynamic and growing finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end close process, including journal posting and Group reporting
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany reporting
• Maintain departmental opex trackers and support budget vs. forecast analysis
• Support budgeting and reforecasting cycles alongside the FD and FC
• Assist with EU payroll processes and compliance tasks (VAT, ONS returns, etc.)
• Act as a point of contact for year-end audit and liaise with external auditors
• Support AP/AR processes and first-review of payment runs
• Contribute to improving financial controls and reviewing finance processes

What We’re Looking For:

• Newly qualified ACA/ACCA, ideally straight from practice
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle a bonus)
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• A proactive, analytical mindset and collaborative working style
• Experience or interest in media, broadcasting, or tech is a plus
