Carpenter’s Mate

We are recruiting for a Carpenter’s Mate for our client based in the Walsall area. Qualified Carpenter’s also considered.

Company: Established manufacturing/ joinery company
Job Title: Carpenter’s Mate (Qualified Carpenter also considered)
Salary – £30-40k + expenses (dependent upon experience)
Location – Brownhills (travel involved)

Role:

• Supporting the assembly and installation of company products at client sites across the UK.
• Moving materials, cutting, measuring and assembly.
• Keeping work areas clean and following Health & Safety procedures.
• Site preparation – setting up equipment, clearing the work area.
• Understanding and following work instructions from the lead carpenter

Requirements:

• Strong customer service skills when meeting with clients face to face.
• Must be very reliable and hard working with a mature personality.
• Healthy, fit and strong as the role is physical.
• Able to travel and overnight stays (expenses paid)
