Job Opportunity: Project Officer

Are you passionate about delivering impactful projects? I’m recruiting for a proactive and organised Project Officer to join one of my public sector clients. You’ll play a key role in supporting the successful execution of projects, working closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects that will shape the future of the West Midlands.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
- Supporting the coordination and delivery of projects across cost, time, and quality.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of project management plans.
- Managing stakeholder communications and ensuring compliance with statutory and technical requirements.
- Producing accurate project reports and supporting governance processes.
- Deputising for the Project Manager in meetings and stakeholder engagements when required.
In order to be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience working on complex projects.
- Proven ability to support and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
- Familiarity with project controls, governance, and reporting.
- Strong organisational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with a solution-focused mindset.
- Experience working with stakeholders in politically sensitive environments.
