Individual Needs Worker

Academics Agency are looking for a caring and dedicated Individual Needs Worker to support a pupil within a primary school in Eastbourne.

This is a rewarding 1:1 support role, helping a child overcome barriers to learning and develop their confidence, independence and engagement in school.

The Role:

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support
• Supporting the pupil with their individual needs
• Encouraging participation in classroom activities
• Supporting emotional wellbeing and regulation
• Helping develop confidence and independence
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO

We’re looking for someone who is patient, consistent and nurturing, with the ability to build a strong relationship with the pupil.

Previous experience working with children with SEN, additional needs, behavioural needs or within a support setting is desirable.
