About the Role
This school is seeking a skilled and proactive Premises Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and safety of the school site. This is a key leadership role that ensure the learning environment remains safe, secure, and well-maintained for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage the upkeep, cleanliness, and security of the school buildings and grounds.
• Lead and supervise site and cleaning staff.
• Schedule and oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including fire safety.
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers for site-related services.
• Monitor budgets and maintain stock of essential supplies.
• Support school events and emergency response procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in facilities or premises management (school setting preferred).
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
