We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual for a temporary position to help us secure exciting auction items for our upcoming charity auction in November, held in the City of London. This event will gather esteemed senior executives from the UK stock market, providing a unique opportunity for generous businesses to showcase their commitment to social responsibility while gaining exposure and unique networking opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify Potential Donors: Research and reach out to companies that align with our mission and would be interested in donating auction items.
Engagement: Utilise your excellent telephone and email communication skills to engage with prospective donors.
Networking: Build and maintain relationships with representatives from various businesses, making a compelling case for their support for the nominated charity.
Item Curation: Focus on securing a diverse range of auction items, including but not limited to:
– Dining experiences
– Holiday packages
– Sports memorabilia
– Exclusive gifts and experiences
Qualifications:
– Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
– Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills
– Ability to create rapport and build relationships quickly
– Prior experience in fundraising, sales, or customer service is a plus, but not mandatory
– A genuine passion for charity work
